GMR Aerotropolis, the first of its kind concept for Airports in India, is being developed as a “Safe, Smart and Sustainable Commercial District”. It promotes experiential living through work, play, fitness, world-class cuisine and entertainment options while providing highly connected and interactive urban areas for socio-economic growth of the airport community.
Aerotropolis's first phase, named Hospitality District located at Delhi already hosts more than 15 hotels, three Grade A offices and retail spaces with well laid out public amenities. It now enjoys seamless connectivity with both the Airport Express Metro and the City Metro line, thereby connecting Noida and North-Western parts of Delhi to the airport terminals. The pedestrian friendly streetscape, ample public spaces and recreational amenities are a high point of the Aerotropolis. The next phase of Aerotropolis will see well-curated and planned zones, each having its own urban character, public spaces, world class security and will set benchmarks for city developments and for sustainability.
The Hyderabad Aerotropolis City would offer an integrated ecosystem with theme-based, anchor-led development zones, which include key ports and establishments, including a Business Port, a Health Port, Education Port, Fun Port, Retail Park, Logistics Park and Aerospace Park, as a multi-product SEZ.
